LSO Deputies Locate Large Quantity of Methamphetamine / Arrest Two During Investigation of a Suspicious Vehicle in London, Kentucky

LONDON, KY - Laurel County Sheriff John Root is reporting that: Laurel Sheriff's Deputy Landry Collett along with Deputy Hobie Daugherty, Deputy Justin Taylor, and Deputy Tommy Houston arrested two individuals early Monday morning December 7, 2020 at approximately 2:30 AM.

The arrests occurred behind a business off West Hal Rogers Parkway in London following an investigation conducted on a suspicious vehicle located there.

Deputies found two individuals there in possession of:

  • A large quantity of Methamphetamine
  • Needles
  • A glass smoking pipe

The two arrested individuals were identified as:

Marissa Rodriguez age 42 of Sonny Brooke Cir., London, KY charged with:

  • Trafficking in a controlled substance – first-degree – second offense – Methamphetamine
  • Possession of Drug paraphernalia

Joseph Baker age 47 of Topton Rd., London, KY charged with:

  • Possession of a controlled substance – first-degree – first offense – Methamphetamine
  • Possession of Drug paraphernalia

These two individuals were lodged in the Laurel County Correctional Center.
