LONDON, KY (December 11, 2020) - Laurel County Sheriff John Root is reporting that: Laurel Sheriff's Dustin Saylor along with Deputy Travis Napier and K-9/shift Sgt. Gary Mehler arrested Jacob Roger Johnson age 23 of Lily on Thursday evening December 10, 2020 at approximately 5:45 PM.
The arrest occurred off Slate Ridge Road, approximately 5 miles South of London after deputies were dispatched to a fight complaint there.
Upon arrival at the scene deputies encountered the suspect who immediately created a disturbance with responding deputies cursing and yelling.
Upon arrest this individual failed to comply with deputies commands but was taken into custody.
Jacob Roger Johnson was charged with:
- Disorderly conduct – Second-degree
- Menacing
- Resisting arrest
This individual was lodged in the Laurel County Correctional Center.
