LONDON, KY (December 13, 2020) - Laurel County Sheriff John Root is reporting that: Laurel Sheriff's Deputy Jamie Etherton arrested Edward J. Clark age 29 of Paris Karr Rd., Keavy on Saturday afternoon December 12, 2020 at approximately 1:52 PM.
The arrest occurred off Caleb Lane, approximately 8 miles South of London after deputies were dispatched to a complaint of a male subject allegedly passed out in the breezeway of an apartment complex there.
Upon arrival at the scene Deputy Etherton located the suspect and conducted an investigation determining that he was under the influence.
In addition, the subject was found in possession of:
- Suspected Methamphetamine
- Hypodermic syringe
- Spoon
- Straw
- Glass pipe
- Digital scales
Edward J. Clark was charged with:
- Possession of a Controlled substance – first-degree – first offense – Methamphetamine
- Possession of a Controlled substance – second-degree
- Possession of Drug paraphernalia
- Public intoxication – Controlled substances
This individual was lodged in the Laurel County Correctional Center.
