Police Seize Suspected Heroin & Contraband from a Man in Pulaski County, Kentucky

SOMERSET, KY - Sheriff Greg Speck reports that on January 25, 2021, Lieutenant Daryl Kegley with the Pulaski County Sheriff's Office Narcotic's Division arrested Bobby Joe Inman, II, age 30, of Loveless Lane in Somerset, KY, following a weeklong drug investigation that ended with the service of a search warrant at the Loveless Lane residence.

Lieutenant Kegley, assisted by Deputy Trent Massey, Sergeant Cody Cundiff, and the Lake Cumberland Area Drug Task Force, served a search warrant at Loveless Lane, where they located:

  • Mr. Inman
  • Illegal drugs
  • Items usually associated with the sale of drugs

The drugs and contraband were seized and will be retained as evidence.

Seized was:

  • Approximately 2 grams of suspected Heroin
  • Another bag containing approximately 23 grams of a brown powder substance was seized, but it is unknown at this time what drug, if any, that it is and will be submitted with the other drugs seized to the Crime Lab for identification

Bobby Joe Inman, II was charged with:

  • Trafficking in a Controlled Substance, 1st Degree, 2nd or Greater Offense – (less than 2 grams of Heroin)

Bobby Joe Inman, II was transported to the Pulaski County Detention Center, where he remains lodged as of this press release.
