Police Locate a Wanted Suspect with Drugs Passed Out inside a Vehicle in Southeast Kentucky

LONDON, KY - Laurel County Sheriff John Root is reporting that: Laurel Sheriff's Deputy Jamie Etherton along with Deputy Brent France arrested Jesse James Bledsoe age 26 of East Bernstadt on Saturday afternoon February 6, 2021 at approximately 1:26 PM.

The arrest occurred off Glenn View Road approximately 2 miles north of London after deputies received information that a male subject was apparently passed out inside a green colored Jeep parked in the parking lot of a business there.

When deputies arrived at the scene, they located a male subject apparently passed out in the vehicle.

When deputies awakened the individual and conducted an investigation, it was determined he was under the influence.

In addition, this subject was found in possession of suspected Methamphetamine. Also, this individual was determined to be wanted on an outstanding warrant.

Jesse James Bledsoe was charged with:

  • Possession of a controlled substance – first-degree – first offense – Methamphetamine
  • Possession of Drug paraphernalia
  • Public intoxication – Controlled substances

In addition, this subject was charged on a Laurel District Court bench warrant of arrest charging:

  • Failure to appear in court

This individual was lodged in the Laurel County Correctional Center.
