MANCHESTER, KY - The Manchester Police Department is reporting that: On Saturday February 6, 2021 at approximately 12:30 A.M. Manchester Police Officer, Wes Wolfe and Manchester Police K9 Unit, Ryan Jackson were providing extra patrol to the Beech Creek Campground area when they observed a white Chevrolet Silverado traveling along Beech Creek Road.

Officer Wolfe then got behind the vehicle where he observed the white Silverado cross the center line several times.

Officer Wolfe initiated a traffic stop and identified the driver to be Robert Todd Wooton.  It was determined through Clay County 911 that Wooton had an active warrant for his arrest.

Located on Mr. Wooton was:

  • Multiple plastic baggies containing a crystal like substance believed to be Methamphetamine
  • A plastic baggie containing Marijuana
  • Drug paraphernalia

Robert Todd Wooton age 53 of Manchester, KY was charged with:

  • Careless Driving
  • Traff Cont Sub - 1st degree - 1st offense- (Methamphetamine)
  • Drug Paraphernalia
  • Poss of Marijuana
  • Assault, 4th degree (no visible injury) (warrant)
  • Tbut or disp all others $500 or more but U/$10,000 (warrant)

This individual was lodged in the Clay County Detention Center.
