MANCHESTER, KY - Clay County Sheriff Patrick Robinson is reporting that Highway 687 on the Caudill Gap side is closed right now due to a bridge collapse.
Most of the County received significant amounts of rainfall over the course of Sunday and Sunday night. Please use extreme caution and wise judgement while travelling.
According to KYTC District 11 KY 687 at mile point 13.49 in Clay County is closed due to roadway washout around the box culvert. Estimated duration is unknown at this time. D11 crews will have to wait for water level to go down to assess full damage.
