LONDON, KY - Laurel County Sheriff John Root is reporting that: Laurel Sheriff's Deputy Dylan Messer along with K-9 Deputy Jake Miller arrested Kristie L. Jackson age 42 of London on Thursday morning March 11, 2021 at approximately 8:02 AM.
The arrest occurred on Barbourville Road, approximately 4 miles South of London after deputies were dispatched to a complaint of a female subject standing in the roadway yelling at passing vehicles and blocking both lanes of traffic.
Upon arrival at the scene deputies noted that this subject began to scream and curse deputies creating a disturbance there.
Deputies determined that this individual was under the influence and following a brief scuffle with deputies was taken into custody, and placed in a police cruiser.
Kristie Jackson was charged with:
- Public intoxication – Controlled substances
- Disorderly conduct – second-degree
- Menacing
- Resisting arrest
This individual was lodged in the Laurel County Correctional Center.
