Man with 4 Active Warrants Arrested on Butterfly Hollow in Clay County, Kentucky

MANCHESTER, KY - Clay County Sheriff Patrick Robinson is reporting that on May 5, 2021 at approximately 11:30 Am Clay County Chief Deputy Clifton Jones along with Deputy Paul Whitehead, CSO Supervisor Dewey Grubb and PAO Trent Baker arrested Allen Riley, 22 of Williamstown Road.

The arrest occurred on Butterfly Hollow when deputies received information that the subject was staying at a residence and had multiple warrants for his arrest.

Upon arrival, Deputies located the subject attempting to hide in a closet.

The subject was placed under arrest without further incident.

Through confirmation with Clay County Dispatch it showed the subject had 4 active warrants for his arrest through Clay County District Court.

During the search of the subject a metal vial containing suspected Methamphetamine was located on the subject’s person.

Allen Riley was charged with:

• Serving Bench Warrant for Court
• Serving Bench Warrant for Court
• Serving Bench Warrant for Court
• Serving Bench Warrant for Court
• Possession of a Controlled Substance 1st Degree 1st Offense (Methamphetamine)

This individual was lodged in the Clay County Detention Center.
