LONDON, KY - Laurel County Sheriff John Root is reporting that: Laurel Sheriff's Deputy Greg Poynter arrested Eric B. Roberts age 48 of London on Saturday evening May 29, 2021 at approximately 5:00 PM.
The arrest occurred off Cold Hill Road approximately 6 miles west of London after deputies were dispatched to a fight complaint there.
Upon arrival at the scene deputies learned that allegedly this individual had assaulted a female subject there pushing her down and then placing his hands around her throat choking her.
Eric Roberts was charged with:
- Strangulation – first-degree
This Individual was lodged in the Laurel County Correctional Center.
