LONDON, KY - Laurel County Sheriff John Root is reporting that: Laurel Sheriff's K-9 Deputy Jake Miller arrested Kyle Thomas Jackson age 33 of Manchester, KY on Thursday afternoon July 8, 2021 at approximately 1:20 PM.
The arrest occurred on Hal Rogers Parkway approximately 1/2 mile east of London after Deputy Miller was dispatched to a complaint of a male subject who had been driving a white Chevrolet Silverado that ran off the roadway and traveled through a fence.
Upon arrival at the scene Deputy Miller noted detecting the odor of alcoholic beverages emitting from the driver and conducted an investigation determining that he was under the influence.
Kyle Thomas Jackson was charged with:
- Operating a motor vehicle under the influence – first offense
- Possession of open alcoholic beverage container in motor vehicle prohibited
- Operating on suspended or revoked operator's license
This individual was lodged in the Laurel County Correctional Center.
