MEDFORD, OR - The Oregon State Police is reporting that on Thursday, August 19, 2021 at approximately 6:00 P.M., OSP Troopers and emergency personnel responded to a two vehicle crash on Highway 99 and Elk Street.
Preliminary investigation revealed a Subaru Legacy, operated by Nicholas Dent (39) of Central Point, was southbound and turned left and collided with a northbound Buell motorcycle operated by Alexander Allen (44) of Grants Pass.
Allen sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced deceased.
Dent was uninjured.
OSP was assisted by the Oregon Department of Transportation, Jackson County Sheriff's Office and Jackson County Fire District 3.
