SOMERSET, KY (September 17, 2021) - The Pulaski County Sheriff's Office is reporting that the Sheriff’s Office has received information that citizens in Pulaski county are receiving telephone calls from a number that shows up on their caller ID as the Pulaski County Sheriff’s Office.

The individuals are identifying themselves as both current and former Deputies and are providing personal information to the person and advising that there is an active warrant for their arrest.

Sheriff Speck would like to remind the community that his office will NEVER call you and tell you that you have an arrest warrant and attempt to solicit money over the telephone in order to have the warrant expunged.

This is a scam and a scare tactic in an attempt to scam innocent people out of money.

Sheriff Speck requests that if you receive a telephone call of this nature, please contact the Sheriff’s Office at 606-678-5145 or your local law enforcement agency.
