LONDON, KY - Laurel County Sheriff John Root is reporting that: Laurel Sheriff's Deputy Bo Harris arrested Cassie Brown age 35 of London early Sunday morning October 17, 2021 at approximately 4:48 AM.
The arrest occurred off German Lane, approximately 10 miles west of London after deputies were dispatched to a complaint of a female subject allegedly attempting to take a vehicle that did not belong to her.
Upon arrival at the scene deputies located the female subject in the roadway creating a disturbance with the owner of the truck and others.
Upon arrest this subject began to fight with deputies, attempting to pull an antenna off the police cruiser to use as a weapon and kicked three deputies there at the scene before being taken into custody and placed in the police cruiser.
Cassie Brown was charged with:
- Public intoxication – controlled substances
- Disorderly conduct – second-degree
- Resisting arrest
- Three counts of assault – third-degree – police officer is victim
This individual was lodged in the Laurel County Correctional Center.
