LONDON, KY (February 17, 2022) - Laurel County Sheriff John Root is reporting that: Laurel Sheriff's Deputy Dustin Saylor along with Deputy Travis Napier arrested Carl Wayne Maggard age 72 of Corbin on Tuesday afternoon February 15, 2021 at approximately 4:13 PM.
The arrest occurred off KY 1223 approximately 7 miles South of London after deputies were dispatched to a disturbance complaint there.
Upon arrival at the scene deputies learned that allegedly this subject had struck a female subject with a box.
Carl Maggard was charged with:
- Assault 4th degree
This individual was lodged in the Laurel County Correctional Center.
