FRANKFORT, KY – Attorney General Daniel Cameron announced on Wednesday, May 25, 2022 that action by his Special Prosecutions Unit resulted in the indictment of Abel M. Tucker, 31, of Campbellsville for rape and unlawful transaction with a minor.
On Tuesday, May 17, 2022, a Taylor County Grand Jury indicted Abel M. Tucker on:
- One count of Rape First Degree (Class B Felony)
- Unlawful Transaction with a Minor Second Degree (Class D Felony)
- Controlled Substance Prescription Not in Original Container (Class B Misdemeanor)
The case was investigated by the Taylor County Sheriff’s Department.
Assistant Attorney General Eric Finke presented the case before the Taylor County Grand Jury on behalf of the Commonwealth.
The charges in an indictment are allegations, and the defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty.
