LONDON, KY (September 7, 2022) - Laurel County Sheriff John Root is reporting that: Laurel Sheriff's K-9/shift Sgt. Gary Mehler arrested a Jackson County resident on a Kentucky parole board parole violation warrant Tuesday night September 6, 2022 at approximately 9:00 PM.
Jason L. Gibson age 38 of Gray Hawk, KY was arrested at a business off KY 490 approximately 6 miles north of London.
Jason Gibson was charged on a Kentucky parole board parole violation warrant charging:
- Absconding parole supervision
- Failure to report to parole officer as directed regarding a conviction in Clay County and Owsley County Circuit Court on charges of:
- Complicity burglary – third-degree
- Criminal possession of a forged instrument – second-degree
In addition, the subject was charged on a Jackson County Circuit Court bench warrant of arrest charging failure to appear in court for arraignment on charges of:
- Criminal possession of a forged instrument – first-degree
Also, Mr. Gibson was charged on a Jackson County District Court bench warrant of arrest charging:
- Failure to appear in court on charges of theft by unlawful taking
This individual was lodged in law and Correctional Center.
