LONDON, KY (ClayCoNews) - Laurel County Sheriff John Root is reporting that: Laurel Sheriff's K-9/shift Sgt. Gary Mehler arrested Ivey Smith-Mills age 44 of London on Monday afternoon November 28, 2022 at approximately 5:00 PM.
The arrest occurred off ONeal Road, approximately 4 miles west of London after deputies were dispatched to a disturbance complaint there.
Upon arrival at the scene deputies learned there had allegedly been a verbal argument which resulted in a male subject being struck by a female subject there.
Ivey Smith-Mills was charged with:
- ASSAULT, 4TH DEGREE (DOMESTIC VIOLENCE) NO VISIBLE INJURY
This individual was lodged in the Laurel County Correctional Center.
