PLANO, KY — The Kentucky State Police (KSP) is reporting that the Kentucky State Police Critical Incident Response Team (CIRT) has been requested by KSP Post 3 in Bowling Green to investigate a trooper-involved shooting that occurred on Monday, April 17th, 2023, at approximately 4:15 P.M. CST in Warren County.
The CIRT arrived on the scene and began an investigation into the incident.
A male subject was pronounced deceased at the scene by the Warren County Coroner.
KSP has statewide jurisdiction and investigates officer-involved shootings throughout the Commonwealth as requested by local, state, and federal law enforcement agencies. KSP is committed to being transparent while ensuring the integrity of the investigation.
