ARRESTED: Wanted Manchester Suspect, a Barbourville Resident and a Green Road, Kentucky Man all Jailed on Unrelated? Methamphetamine Charges in Knox County

BARBOURVILLE, KY - The Knox County Sheriff’s Office is reporting that on Saturday, May 6, 2023, at approximately 2:00 A.M. Knox County Deputies were patrolling in the Green Road area of Knox County when they observed a vehicle cross over the center line on KY 11.

After conducting a traffic stop and checking a male passenger identified as Woodson Roark age 41 of Manchester, KY, it was determined that Mr. Roark was wanted on a Clay County Bench Warrant for failure to appear on a:

  • Possession of Controlled Substance - 2nd Degree charge

During the arrest, several plastic bags of suspected Methamphetamine and a used glass smoking pipe were found in his possession.

In addition to the warrant, Woodson Roark was charged with:

  • Two counts of Trafficking in Controlled Substance-1st Degree
  • Possession of Drug Paraphernalia

This individual was lodged in the Knox County Detention Center.

BARBOURVILLE, KY - The Knox County Sheriff’s Office is reporting that on Tuesday, May 2, 2023, at approximately 12:10 A.M. Knox County Deputy Jesse Smith was patrolling in the Cannon area of Knox County when he observed a man walking toward a vehicle in the parking lot of the A&B Quick Mart on KY 11.

The man also busted a glass smoking pipe in Deputy Smith’s presence.

While checking the subject, two bags of suspected Methamphetamine, Buprenorphine strips, a set of digital scales, and two syringes were found in his possession.

Jacob Wagers age 30 of Green Road, KY was arrested and charged with:

  • Two counts of Trafficking in Controlled Substance-1st Degree
  • Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
  • Tampering with Physical Evidence
  • No Registration Plates
  • No Insurance

This individual was lodged in the Knox County Detention Center.

BARBOURVILLE, KY - The Knox County Sheriff’s Office is reporting that on Monday, May 1, 2023, Knox County Deputy Sgt. Bobby Jones responded to a report of a female causing a disturbance in the Wildcat Market parking lot in Flat Lick.

After making contact with the female, SGT Jones determined the female needed medical attention and called Knox EMS.

A male subject was also present with the female in the parking lot.

While checking the male subject, Sgt. Jones located a bag of suspected Methamphetamine along with several small plastic bags in his possession.

Randal R. Sheppard age 54 of Barbourville, KY was arrested and charged with:

  • Trafficking in Controlled Substance-1st Degree
  • Possession of Drug Paraphernalia

This individual was lodged in the Knox County Detention Center.
