CLACKAMAS COUNTY, OR - The Oregon State Police (OSP) is reporting that on Thursday, October 26, 2023, at 7:52 a.m., OSP responded to a single-vehicle crash on Highway 211, near milepost 8, in Clackamas County.
The preliminary investigation indicated a Ford Focus, operated by Bradley J. Burchard (43) of Sherwood, was eastbound when it left the roadway for unknown reasons and struck a tree.
The vehicle caught fire as a result of the collision and was extinguished by Molalla Fire.
The operator (Burchard) was declared deceased at the scene.
The highway was impacted for approximately 2.5 hours during the on scene investigation.
OSP was assisted by Molalla Fire, Mollala Police Department, and ODOT.
