LONDON, KY - Laurel County Sheriff John Root is reporting that: Laurel Sheriff's Deputy Cyruss McVey arrested Jimmy Ray Gray age 56 of Boggs Cemetery Rd., London on Sunday afternoon November 12, 2023 at approximately 4:16 PM.
The arrest occurred at a business off E. Laurel Rd. in London after Deputy McVey was dispatched to a complaint that a male subject was attempting to sell drugs inside a business there.
Upon arrival at the scene Deputy McVey located the suspect and learned through investigation that he was wanted on an outstanding warrant.
Upon arrest this individual was found in possession of pills and a clear glass pipe with residue on the inside of it.
Jimmy Ray Gray was charged with:
- Possession of a controlled substance – third-degree
- Prescription controlled substances not in proper container – first offense
- Possession of drug paraphernalia
In addition, this subject was also charged on a Knox County bench warrant of arrest.
This individual was lodged in the Laurel County Correctional Center.
