MANCHESTER, KY - The Manchester Police Department (MPD) is reporting that safety checkpoints will be conducted by MPD Officers beginning Monday, December 4th through Wednesday, January 3rd, 2024.
Road safety checkpoints throughout the city limits of Manchester will target driving impairment and seat belt usage as well as enforcement of child safety seats.
MPD will be conducting the traffic safety checkpoints at the following locations within the city limits of Manchester:
- U.S. 421 around the old CBS
- Greenbriar Road
- North U.S. 421
- Hwy 80
- Town Branch Road/Muddy Gap Road intersection
- East Manchester/White St.
These safety checkpoints are to maximize the safety of our motorist in Manchester and Clay County.
