LONDON, KY - Laurel County Sheriff John Root is advising that the 3rd annual "Operation Polar Express" toy drive giveaway will be held on Friday at the Laurel County Sheriffs Office for gifts to be given to deserving children.
The toy drive giveaway will run from Noon until 4:00 p.m. on Friday, December 22, 2023, at the Laurel County Sheriff's Office in London.
A collection box has been set up in the front office of the Laurel County Sheriff's office to accept donations which will be received through December 22nd.
Donations can be dropped off at the Sheriff's Office Monday through Friday, 8:00 A.M. thru 4:00 P.M.
Help us to help children that may not have much of a Christmas this year.
Laurel Sheriff's Deputy Allen Turner is coordinating the program. (Giveaway set for Noon til 4:00 p.m. on the 22nd)
Note: Gift bags with a toy item inside is a good and quick way to help us collect gifts for children that may not have anything for Christmas.
