FRANKFORT, KY – Attorney General Russell Coleman released the following statement Wednesday after Governor Andy Beshear's State of the Commonwealth Address:
"We look forward to reviewing the proposals and working closely with leaders in the General Assembly to pass a responsible budget that prioritizes public safety and support for our law enforcement.
"I'm particularly pleased to see the proposed increase in funding for the Kentucky State Police and the courageous men and women of law enforcement across the Commonwealth.
I fully support providing those who carry a badge with the resources and equipment they need to protect families and keep themselves safe."
