LONDON, KY - Laurel County Sheriff John Root is reporting that: Laurel Sheriff's Deputy Zach Allen along with K-9/shift Sgt. Gary Mehler arrested Wanda Weaver age 59 of East Bernstadt, KY on Wednesday night January 10, 2024 at approximately 7:03 PM.
The arrest occurred off Highway 3094 approximately 4 miles north of London after deputies were dispatched to a dispute that allegedly turned into a physical assault.
When deputies arrived at the scene, they learned that allegedly an argument had occurred there between a mother and daughter.
Allegedly, the mother, Wanda Weaver assaulted her daughter during the argument.
Wanda Weaver was charged with:
- Assault – 4th degree – domestic violence
This individual was lodged in the Laurel County Correctional Center
