LONDON, KY - Laurel County Sheriff John Root is reporting that: Laurel Sheriff's Deputy Tommy Houston along with Deputy Noah Ritchie arrested Tanner Jordan Elliott age 26 of Corbin on Saturday morning January 27, 2024 at approximately 7:45 AM.
The arrest occurred on W. Cumberland Gap Parkway approximately 10 miles South of London after deputies were dispatched to a vehicle fire complaint there.
Upon arrival at the scene deputies reported that apparently a white Chevrolet Sonic had rear-ended a semi-tractor trailer.
Deputies noted during investigation that they detected the odor of alcoholic beverages emitting from the driver of the white Chevrolet and following testing determined that the driver was under the influence.
Tanner Jordan Elliott was charged with:
- Operating a motor vehicle under the influence – second offense.
This individual was lodged in the Laurel County Correctional Center
