TAYLORSVILLE, KY – The Kentucky State Police (KSP) reported on Monday, February 5, 2024 that Post 12 was contacted by Spencer County Child Protective Services in reference to injuries sustained to two children, seven months of age.
Both infants were transported to Norton’s Children’s Hospital in Louisville with serious physical injuries.
Through the investigation, KSP Post 12 detectives charged the father, Markus Alexander White, 21 years of age from Lexington Kentucky.
White was transported to the Shelby County Detention Center.
Markus White was charged with:
- 2 counts of Criminal Abuse 1st degree-Child Under 12 years of age
This individual was lodged in the Shelby County Detention Center where he's being held on a $250,000 CASH bond.
