LONDON, KY - Pictured is Custodian Bobby Spurlock representing South Laurel Middle School with a donation of good softball gloves presenting them to Laurel Sheriff's Public Affairs Deputy Gilbert Acciardo.
The gloves were presented to Deputy Acciardo on Monday, March 25th, 2024 to be given to the "Kentucky Sheriff's Boys/Girls Ranch".
This summer recreation camp is operated summers annually providing a camp for deserving children.
The "Kentucky Sheriff's Boys/Girls Ranch" camp is operated by donations.
Laurel County Sheriff John Root stated his appreciation to South Middle for this act of kindness!!
