LONDON, KY - Laurel County Sheriff John Root is reporting that: Laurel Sheriff's Deputy Bobby Roberts arrested two individuals on Saturday night March 24, 2024 at approximately 10:25 PM.
The arrests occurred at Walmart near Corbin in southern Laurel County after Walmart's loss prevention team reported two possible shoplifters in their store.
Upon arrival at the scene an investigation was conducted and two individuals were arrested.
It was determined that the two individuals had previously been trespassed from all Walmart stores.
The two arrested individuals were identified as: Steven Miracle, age 59 of London, KY and Patricia Burns age 27 of London, KY.
Steven Miracle was charged with:
- Criminal trespassing – second-degree
- Theft by unlawful taking $500 or more but under $1000
Patricia Burns was charged with:
- Criminal trespassing – second-degree
- Theft by unlawful taking $500 or more but under $1000
These two individuals were lodged in the Laurel County Correctional Center.
