Sheriff's Deputy Captures a Wanted Local Fugitive in Clay County, Kentucky

MANCHESTER, KY - Clay County Sheriff, Patrick Robinson, reports that on Friday, April 5, 2024, Deputy Dustin Henson arrested Marty Wagers, age 46 of Manchester, KY.

During a preliminary investigation, Deputy Henson discovered Wagers had 3 warrants out of Laurel County for Failure to Appear, 1 warrant out of Clay County for Failure to Appear and the subject was also wanted on a Parole Violation Warrant.

Wagers was taken into custody and transported to the Clay County Detention Center where, according to jail records, he was booked into the facility at 2:38 p.m. Friday afternoon on April 5, 2024. Wagers was subsequently lodged in the detention center.

Marty Wagers was charged with: 

  • SERVING PAROLE VIOLATION WARRANT
  • FAILURE TO APPEAR,,FAILURE TO APPEAR
  • FAILURE TO APPEAR
  • NON PAYMENT OF COURT COSTS, FEES OR FINE

This individual is currently lodged in the Clay County Detention Center with no mention of a bond or court appearance as of 8:30 a.m. on Sunday, April 7, 2024.
