LONDON, KY - Laurel County Sheriff John Root is reporting that: Laurel Sheriff's Deputy Bobby Roberts arrested Nikki Fairchild age 42 of Corbin on Saturday night April 6, 2024 at approximately 8:05 PM.
The arrest occurred off West Cumberland Gap Pkwy. approximately 10 miles South of London after Deputy Roberts was dispatched to a dispute in a business parking lot there.
Upon arrival at the scene Deputy Roberts conducted an investigation and determined that an individual there was wanted on a parole violation warrant.
Deputy Roberts noted that at first the female subject gave false identifying information and later told Deputy Roberts that she knew she had an outstanding warrant and did not want to go to jail.
Nikki Fairchild was charged with:
- Public intoxication – controlled substances
- Theft of identity of another without consent
- Giving officer false identifying information
In addition, this individual was charged on a Kentucky parole board mandatory reentry supervision violation warrant charging:
- Absconding parole supervision
- Failure to report to parole officer as directed regarding a conviction in Knox Circuit Court on charges of hindering prosecution/apprehension – first-degree
This individual was lodged in the Laurel County Correctional Center.
