LONDON, KY - Laurel County Sheriff John Root is reporting that: Laurel Sheriff's Deputy Bobby Roberts arrested Randall Chumbley age 55 of London on Saturday afternoon April 6, 2024 at approximately 1:57 PM.
The arrest occurred off Parkside Road approximately 5 miles South of London after Deputy Roberts was dispatched to a complaint that a male subject had head butted a female subject in the nose.
Upon arrival at the scene Deputy Roberts conducted an investigation and learned that apparently a verbal argument became physical when Randall Chumbley allegedly head-butted a female subject there causing her mouth and nose to bleed.
It was also learned that Chumbley had an outstanding warrant.
Randall Chumbley was charged with:
- Assault – 4th degree
Chumbley was also charged on a Laurel County bench warrant of arrest charging:
- Failure to appear in court
This individual was lodged in the Laurel County Correctional Center.
