LONDON, KY - Laurel County Sheriff John Root is reporting that: Laurel Sheriff's Deputy Tommy Houston arrested Joshua Allen Grubb age 34 of London on Wednesday morning May 1, 2024 at approximately 7:17 AM.
The arrest occurred at a business off KY 552 approximately 8 miles South of London after Deputy Houston was dispatched to a complaint of a male subject inside the business screaming at a female and creating a disturbance.
Apparently, the owner told the male subject to leave the store and he did, however in a few minutes the male subject returned to the scene and continued to create a disturbance there.
The female victim stayed in the store afraid to leave until law-enforcement arrived.
When Deputy Houston arrived at the scene, he located the suspect noting that the suspect alternated between yelling, crying, and whispering and following an investigation by Deputy Houston the suspect was determined to be under the influence.
Joshua Allen Grubb was arrested and charged with:
- Assault – 4th degree
- Criminal trespassing – third-degree
- Disorderly conduct – second-degree
- Public intoxication – controlled substances
This individual was lodged in the Laurel County Correctional Center.
