MANCHESTER, KY - According to the Clay County Sheriff's Office: Sheriff Patrick Robinson is reporting six (6) arrests in Clay County for the period between Thursday, May 9, 2024 and Midnight Saturday, May 11, 2024.
The following arrests were announced on the Facebook page of the Clay County Sheriff's Office as reported by Sheriff Patrick Robinson.
- 1. On 5/9/24, Deputy Patrick Smith arrested Angela Lovins for Disorderly Conduct 2nd Degree, Resisting Arrest, Public Intoxication (excludes alcohol), Assault 3rd Degree-Police Officer or Probation Officer, Criminal Mischief 2nd Degree, and Criminal Littering.
- 2. On 5/9/24, Deputy Luke Thomas arrested Melanie Azizpour for Public Intoxication (excludes alcohol), and Menacing.
- 3. On 5/10/24, he and Chief Deputy Clifton Jones were called out regarding a male subject passed out behind the wheel of a vehicle. When the subject was asked for his ID, he pulled out a baggy of meth, pills, and a large sum of US Currency. David Ratliff was arrested on the charges of Trafficking a Controlled Substance - Meth, and Public Intoxication. It was confirmed to be 9 grams of meth, several pills of Fentanyl, and $3034.
- 4. On 5/10/24, Deputy Luke Thomas executed a complaint warrant on Rebecca Hoskins for Criminal Possession of Forged Instrument 3rd Degree (Attempt). She is currently being held at the Clay County Detention Center.
- 5. On 5/11/24, Deputy Dustin Henson arrested Angela Downey for Five (5) Failure to Appear warrants. Three (3) warrants from Clay County and two (2) warrants from Jackson County.
- 6. On 5/11/24, Deputy Dustin Henson arrested Jesse Jackson for No Registration Receipt, No Registration Plates, Driving on DUI Suspended License - 1st Offense, Failure to Register Transfer of Motor Vehicle, Failure to Produce Insurance Card.
