LONDON, KY - Laurel County Sheriff John Root is reporting that: Laurel Sheriff's Deputy Bobby Roberts arrested Dylan Reed age 30 of Moriah Rd., London on Friday evening May 10, 2024 at approximately 4:34 PM.
The arrest occurred on Somerset Road, approximately 5 miles west of London after Deputy Roberts was dispatched to a two vehicle injury traffic crash there.
Upon arrival at the scene Deputy Roberts conducted an investigation and learned that Dylan Reed was driving a blue colored Chevrolet pickup that allegedly crossed the centerline and struck another vehicle there causing an injury to an occupant in the other vehicle.
The driver stated he had dropped his phone and was trying to pick it up at the time of the crash.
In addition, during the investigation Dylan Reed was determined to be under the influence and stated that he had taken Suboxone and Marijuana.
Dylan Reed was charged with:
- Operating a motor vehicle under the influence – first offense
- Wanton endangerment – first-degree
- Assault – 4th degree
- Driving motor vehicle using a handheld mobile telephone
This individual was lodged in the Laurel County Correctional Center.
