MANCHESTER, KY - The Manchester Police Department is announcing that from Saturday, June 22nd through Sunday, September 15th, 2024, MPD will be conducting road safety checkpoints throughout the city limits of Manchester.
The purpose of these checkpoints is to target driving impairment, seat belt usage and child safety seat enforcement.
The road safety checkpoints will be conducted at:
- U.S 421 around the old CBS
- Greenbriar Road, north U.S. 421 & Hwy 80 within city limits
- Town Branch Road/Muddy Gap Road intersection
- East Manchester/White St.
These safety checkpoints will maximize the safety of motorists traveling in the city of Manchester.
