LONDON, KY - Laurel County Sheriff John Root is reporting that: Laurel Sheriff's Deputy Zach Allen along with K-9/shift Sgt. Gary Mehler arrested George Philpot age 23 of London on Tuesday night June 25, 2024 at approximately 8:23 PM.
The arrest occurred off Brock Minton Road, approximately 10 miles east of London while deputies were conducting an investigation in that area.
During the investigation this individual was found in possession of suspected methamphetamine and was arrested.
George Philpot was charged with:
- Possession of a controlled substance – first-degree – first offense – methamphetamine
This individual was lodged in the Laurel County Correctional Center.
