LONDON, KY - Laurel County Sheriff John Root is reporting that: Laurel Sheriff's Deputy Zach Allen along with Deputy Byron Grimes arrested Kristen Bowman, age 25 of East Bernstadt on Monday afternoon July 29th, 2024.
The arrest occurred at the Laurel County Judicial Center security checkpoint after sheriff’s court security officer Derek Mills located this subject in possession of a pipe and straw with meth residue as she entered the security checkpoint to the courthouse.
Deputies determined through investigation that this individual was under the influence.
Kristen Bowman was charged with;
- Possession of drug paraphernalia
- Public intoxication – controlled substances
This individual was lodged in the Laurel County Correctional Center.
