LONDON, KY - London Police Chief Jerry Hollon is reporting that on Sunday, August 18, 2024 at approximately 9:43 pm, LPD Sgt. Ben Webb arrested Kristy Johnson, age 40 of Glasgow, KY.
Officers of the London Police Department (LPD) were notified that the above female was attempting to crawl under the fence to gain access to K&K Storage.
Officers located Kristy Johnson in close proximity to the original call and observed that she was manifestly under the influence.
Through further investigation, it was also determined that Johnson had an active warrant for her arrest. Sgt. Webb was assisted on scene by Officer Kendric Smith.
Kristy Johnson was charged with:
- Possession of Controlled Substance 1st Degree 1st Offense (Methamphetamine)
- Possession of Marijuana
- Tampering with Physical Evidence
- Public Intoxication
- Resisting Arrest
- Disorderly Conduct 2nd Degree
- Menacing
Johnson was also served an active warrant for her arrest for:
- Failure to Appear
This individual was lodged in the Laurel County Correctional Center.
