LONDON, KY - London Police Chief Jerry Hollon is reporting that the London Police Department's Drug Interdiction Unit arrested James Burke, age 47, for trafficking a large amount of illegal drugs.
Through investigation it was determined that Burke was in possession of a large quantity of methamphetamine. On Monday, September 28, 2024, the LPD Drug Interdiction Unit was able to locate Burke (left) and the illegal drugs.
The methamphetamine was seized and Burke was arrested and later lodged in the Laurel County Detention Center.
James Burke was charged with:
- Trafficking in Controlled Substance 1st Degree 1st Offense (> or = 2 Grams of Methamphetamine)
- Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
