LONDON, KY - Laurel County Sheriff John Root is reporting that LSO Deputy Daniel Reed arrested Laurel B. Napier, age 37, on Saturday October 5th, 2024 at approximately 8:00 PM.
The arrest occurred off of S. Stewart Rd approximately 10 miles south of London after deputies were dispatched by London-Laurel County 911 Center of a female stumbling in the roadway attempting to stop passing vehicles on Byrley Rd.
Upon arrival to the area, Deputy Reed observed Napier stumbling in the roadway having trouble maintaining her balance. After making contact it was determined that Laurel Napier was under the influence of a controlled substance.
Napier also gave Deputy Reed false identifying information. After positive identification it was determined that this subject also had an outstanding Laurel County Bench Warrant.
Laurel Napier was charged with:
- Public Intoxication-Controlled Substance
- Giving Officer False Identifying Information
- Laurel County Family Court Bench Warrant
This individual was lodged in the Laurel County Correctional Center.
