SOMERSET, KY - Pulaski County Sheriff Bobby Jones is reporting that on Wednesday, October 9, 2024 a Pulaski County woman was arrested following an investigation when observed in a no parking area.
The incident began when PCSO Deputy Noah Wesley was conducting patrol in the area of Slate Branch Road.
While patrolling the area, Deputy Wesley Deputy Wesley observed a vehicle parked in the no parking area of the boat ramp parking lot with a female occupant who appeared to be passed out.
Upon speaking to the occupant, Jessica Rahe McKee, age 38, of Somerset, KY, Deputy Wesley detected the odor of marijuana coming from the vehicle.
Deputy Wesley conducted a subsequent search of the vehicle and located a baggie containing suspected methamphetamine and a glass pipe.
During his investigation, Deputy Wesley also discovered that McKee had an outstanding Parole Violation warrant. Jessica Rahe McKee was taken into custody and transported to the Pulaski County Detention Center.
JESSICA McKEE is charged with:
- SERVING PAROLE VIOLATION WARRANT
- IMPROPER PARKING VIOLATIONS
- POSS OF MARIJUANA
- DRUG PARAPHERNALIA
- BUY/POSSESS-POSS CONT SUB 1ST DEG, 1ST OFF (METHAMPHETAMINE)
- PUBLIC INTOXICATION-CONTROLL SUB(EXCLUDES ALCOHOL)
This individual was lodged in the Pulaski County Detention Center, where they remain at the time of this publishing.
