LONDON, KY - Laurel County Sheriff John Root is reporting that: The Laurel County Drug Interdiction Task Force composed of: The Laurel County Sheriff's Office, HIDTA, Knox County Sheriff's Office, and London City Police conducted a fentanyl drug investigation jointly with the Operation Unite Drug Task Force and the London office of the DEA.
As the result of an over 2 month investigation, a search warrant was executed at a residence off Roy Dugger Road, 4 miles west of London on Friday afternoon October 25, 2024 at approximately 2:03 PM.
During the search a large amount of fentanyl, meth, assorted pills, drug paraphernalia, and over $43,000 in cash was seized.
Two individuals were arrested and are identified as: Jamie Deaton age 47 of Roy Dugger Rd., London, KY and Alicia Isom age 31 of Roy Dugger Rd., London, KY.
Jamie Deaton was charged with:
- Trafficking in a controlled substance – first offense -fentanyl
Alicia Isom was charged with:
- Trafficking in a controlled substance – first offense – fentanyl
These two individuals were lodged in the Laurel County Correctional Center.
