LONDON, KY - London Police Chief Jerry Hollon is reporting that after a recent investigation by the LPD's Special Investigation Unit, three pounds of suspected Methamphetamine was seized and three suspects arrested.
The LPD Special Investigation Unit located a vehicle near Motel 6 on KY 80 off Interstate 75 at exit 41 in London and conducted a traffic stop.
The vehicle was occupied by three Ohio men identified as: Justin Douglas Everhart Sr., age 44, Larry J. Anderson Jr., age 44 and Carsie David Lofton, age 33.
Through subsequent investigation, over three pounds of suspected Methamphetamine was located and seized. All three suspects were taken into custody and later lodged in the Laurel County Correctional Center.
Detective Wes Wolfe is the investigating officer and was assisted on scene by Det. Landry Collett, Det. Josh Morgan, Det. Travis Couch, Sgt. John Inman, Sgt. Ryan Jackson, and Officer Jordan Childers.
ARRESTS:
Justin Everhart was arrested for:
- Trafficking In Controlled Substance 1st Degree 1st Offense (>or= 2 Grams of Methamphetamine)
Larry Anderson was arrested for:
- Trafficking In Controlled Substance 1st Degree 1st Offense (>or= 2 Grams of Methamphetamine)
Carsie Lofton was arrested for:
- Trafficking In Controlled Substance 1st Degree 1st Offense (>or= 2 Grams of Methamphetamine)
Lofton was also served on two outstanding warrants for:
- Bail Jumping 1st Degree
- Contempt of Court Libel/Slander
