LONDON, KY - Laurel County Sheriff John Root is reporting that: Laurel Sheriff's Deputy Bobby Roberts arrested two individuals early Sunday morning November 10, 2024 at approximately 1:01 AM.
The arrests occurred on the Hal Rogers Parkway approximately 1 mile east of London following a traffic stop conducted on a silver Ford Taurus when the driver failed to dim headlights.
In addition it was noted that the vehicle had illegal red and blue flashing lights on it.
During the stop both the driver and passenger were determined to be under the influence and were arrested and were identified as: The driver, Allen Stubbs, age 42, of Hustonville, KY and the passenger, Jeremy Stamper, age 39, of Stanford, KY.
Allen Stubbs was charged with:
- Operating a motor vehicle under the influence – first offense
- Failure to dim headlights
- Improper flashing lights
Jeremy Stamper (left) was charged with:
- Public intoxication – controlled substances
These two individuals were lodged in the Laurel County Correctional Center.
