SUSPECT ATTEMPTS TO CONCEAL/DESTROY DRUGS AFTER ARREST IN LAUREL COUNTY, KENTUCKY

LONDON, KY - Laurel County Sheriff John Root is reporting that: Laurel Sheriff's Deputy Bobby Roberts arrested Katelyn Sulfridge, age 28, on Friday night November 8, 2024 at approximately 11:57 PM.

The arrest occurred off US 25 approximately 9 miles South of London in a business parking lot after the suspect allegedly nearly struck another vehicle while driving her silver colored Cadillac STS.

An investigation was conducted and this individual was determined to be under the influence and was taken into custody.

While being transported to the correctional facility this individual attempted to conceal and destroy drugs in her possession.

It was determined that the contraband was meth and she admitted using the meth.

Katelyn Sulfridge was charged with:

  • Operating a motor vehicle under the influence – first offense
  • Prescription controlled substances not in proper container – first offense

This individual was lodged in the Laurel County Correctional Center.
