BARBOURVILLE, KY (December 30, 2024) - The Knox County, Ky. Sheriff's Department is reporting that on Sunday, December 29, 2024, at approximately 3:30 p.m., Knox County Deputies received a complaint of a man being observed opening mailboxes on KY-1809 in Bryants Store.
After conducting an investigation, the deputies learned the identity of the suspect to be David Ryan Jackson, age 32, of Williamsburg, KY.
One of the victims reported was the Locust Grove Church in Poplar Creek.
The arrest occurred later that day after Deputies located Jackson at approximately 6:35 p.m., walking on KY-1809 in Bryants Store, Deputies then placed the suspect under arrest and he was transported to the Knox County Detention Center for processing and booking.
David Jackson was charged with:
- Theft of Mail Matter -Two (2) counts
This individual was lodged in the Knox County Detention Center.
