CLAY COUNTY, KY - The City Of Manchester Fire Department reports that at approximately 3:45 AM on Tuesday, February 4th, 2025, the City of Manchester Fire Department was notified by Clay County E-911 to respond to a residential structure fire.
Upon arrival at the scene, heavy fire was observed coming from the rear corner of the residence.
Firefighters deployed an attack line to the front of the residence, making an aggressive interior attack on the fire.
While working interior operations, Manchester firefighters Brandon Adams, Isaac Roark, & Fogertown firefighter Sean Trinque located a dog abandoned inside the residence. With a group effort, firefighters were able to successfully remove the dog from the residence.
Personnel were on scene for several hours before clearing.
