DRUG ARREST OF MAN WITH ACTIVE WARRENT IN MANCHESTER, KENTUCKY

MANCHESTER, KY - Clay County Sheriff, Patrick Robinson, reports that on Monday, February 17, 2025, Deputy Luke Thomas and Deputy Dewey Grubb observed a Dodge Charger traveling north on White Street in Manchester with no visible plate.

Deputy Thomas activated his emergency equipment and the car stopped at Speedway. After talking to the driver briefly, Deputy Grubb then asked the passenger for an ID, in which he was not able to provide but, was identified as Ronnie Robinson, 25, of Manchester, KY and appeared to be under the influence of some type of unknown drug(s) at the time.

Deputy Grubb ran his name and learned that the subject had an active bench warrant. After getting Robinson out of the vehicle deputies located a small baggie, a plastic container of suspected methamphetamine, two needles located in his pockets and two more around his seat. Robinson was then placed under arrest and transported to the Clay County Detention Center.

Ronnie Robinson was arrested for:

  • POSS A CONT SUB
  • DRUG PARAPHERNALIA - BUY/POSSESS
  • PUBLIC INTOXICATION-CONTROLL SUB(EXCLUDES ALCOHOL)
  • PROBATION VIOLATION (FOR MISDEMEANOR OFFENSE)

This individual was lodged in the Clay County Detention Center.
